Michigan requires every limited partnership or LLP registered in the state to file an annual statement with the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs by February 15 each year. The fee is $25. Miss it and the result is $50 late fee; loss of good standing after two years. A company registered in more than one state files this in each of them. A general partnership that never registered with the state files no annual report in most states; the line is for limited partnerships and LLPs.
