Terms of use
Effective November 1, 2026. Obligare is operated by Alleviate Technologies, Inc., a Delaware corporation ("we"). By using obligare.com you agree to these terms. If you use Obligare for a company, you confirm you are authorized to act for it, and "you" includes the company.
What Obligare is
Obligare shows the filing obligations that apply to a company profile you describe, with dates, fees and penalties as read from government sources, and sends reminders for them if you subscribe. It is an information service for businesses. It is not legal, tax or accounting advice, it creates no attorney, accountant or other professional relationship, and it does not file anything with any agency. You remain responsible for your company's compliance and for confirming any date or rule with the agency or a professional before relying on it.
Accuracy
We read each rule from the agency's page, record when we read it, and re-read it monthly. Rules change, agencies move pages, and our reading may be wrong. We state which parts of the calendar are approximate at /method. We do not warrant that a calendar is complete or correct, and we are not liable for a penalty, fee, dissolution or loss that results from relying on it.
Accounts
You sign in with an emailed link or a Google or Microsoft account; keep the link private and your provider account secure, and tell us if you believe someone else has used your account. You are responsible for the people you invite and add as recipients. Company profiles, dates and filings you save belong to you; you can edit, export and delete them at any time.
Subscriptions and billing
Plans are billed in advance through Stripe, monthly or yearly, in US dollars, plus sales tax where it applies. The Advisor plan is billed on the number of companies in the account at each renewal, with prorations when companies are added or removed. You can cancel from your billing page at any time; the subscription ends at the close of the period you paid for and is not refunded for the remainder, except where the law requires a refund. If a payment fails we tell you and retry; the feed and the reminders stop if the payment is not made. Prices can change with thirty days' notice by email; a change applies from your next renewal.
Acceptable use
Do not scrape the site at a rate that harms it, resell the service, misrepresent a company you do not act for, or use Obligare to harass anyone. The public rules pack at /rules/us.json is free to use with attribution to Obligare (obligare.com); the pages, the design and the explanations are ours and may be quoted with attribution but not republished as a whole.
Our rights and yours
We may suspend an account that breaks these terms, after notice where practical. We may change or discontinue a feature; if we discontinue the service, we give sixty days' notice and a refund of the unused part of a yearly plan. You may stop using Obligare at any time.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Obligare is provided as is, and our total liability to you for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, whatever the theory.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of laws rules, and any dispute is brought in the state or federal courts located in Delaware. If a part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest stands.
Changes and contact
When these terms change, the effective date above changes and subscribers get an email; continuing to use Obligare after that is acceptance. Questions: hello@obligare.com. Alleviate Technologies, Inc., 131 Continental Dr, Suite 305, Newark, DE 19713.
