Questions

Which plan?

One business: the Company plan, yearly if you can, because the dates recur yearly and the saving is real. Several businesses, or clients: the Advisor plan, which bills by the number of companies in the account. You can switch between them from your billing page at any time; Stripe prorates the difference.

Can a firm pay yearly, or for several years at once?

The Advisor plan bills monthly because a firm's client list moves during the year, and the bill simply follows the count. A firm that needs an annual invoice or a multi year term writes to hello@obligare.com; it is invoiced and switched on the same day, with the same price.

Why so inexpensive?

Because the work is done once, in the rules pack, and computed for every company from there. There is no onboarding, no implementation and no salesperson, so the price does not have to pay for any.

Does Obligare file anything?

No. It tells you what is due, when, where, and what it costs if missed. Your CPA, attorney, registered agent or payroll provider does the filing; you mark it done.

What about sales tax?

Sales tax applies to the subscription in some states. Stripe computes it at checkout from your billing address.

Nonprofits?

Same price, same plans. A nonprofit is a company on the Company plan, or one of the organizations in an Advisor account, with the Form 990 family, the state nonprofit report and charitable solicitation registration in its calendar. How nonprofits are covered.

Can I cancel?

From your billing page, in one click, any time. Your calendar stays readable; the feed and the reminders stop at the end of the period you paid for.
