Obligare / Privacy

Privacy policy

Effective November 1, 2026. Obligare is operated by Alleviate Technologies, Inc., a Delaware corporation. This policy says what we collect, why, who sees it, and what you can do about it. It is written to be read.

Without an account

The calendar form puts your answers in the page address so you can share or bookmark the result. We do not store them. Server logs keep the address and your IP address for thirty days for security and capacity, then they are deleted.

With an account

We keep your email address and, if you give it or your sign in provider gives it, your name. When you sign in with Google or Microsoft we receive your email address, your name and an identifier for your account at that provider; we receive no access to your mail, files, calendar or contacts, and we store no password from anyone. We keep the company profiles you save, the dates you add, the filings you mark done, the people you invite and add as reminder recipients, and a record of the emails we sent you so we never send one twice.

Payments

Stripe collects and holds your card details and billing address; we never see the card number. We keep the plan, the status of the subscription, and the Stripe identifiers that connect your account to your payments. Stripe computes sales tax from the billing address you give it.

What we do with it

We compute your calendars, send the reminders and change notices you subscribed to, bill you, and answer your questions. Nothing else. We do not sell or rent personal information, we run no advertising, and we do not use your data to train any model. Jay, our compliance intelligence, reads government agency pages, never your data.

Who processes it for us

Stripe (payments), SendGrid by Twilio (email), MongoDB Atlas (database), Vercel (hosting), Google and Microsoft (sign in, only when you choose them), and Anthropic (the Claude model Jay uses to read agency pages; it receives the agency text and our rules, not your account data). All are in the United States and each handles data under its own terms. We share personal information with nobody else except as the law requires.

Cookies

Two, both ours. One keeps you signed in for thirty days. One lives for ten minutes while a Google or Microsoft sign in completes. There are no advertising or tracking cookies and no third party analytics scripts anywhere on the site.

How long we keep it

Account data for as long as the account exists. Delete your account and we delete your profiles, filings and recipients within thirty days; invoices stay with Stripe for the period tax law requires. Server logs: thirty days.

Your rights

You can see and change everything from your account, and export or delete it by writing to hello@obligare.com; we answer within thirty days. Residents of California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas and the other states with privacy laws have the rights those laws give them, including access, correction, deletion and portability, and we honor them without discrimination. We do not sell personal information and have no "sale" or "sharing" to opt out of.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. There are no passwords to steal: sign in is by a link we email, or by Google or Microsoft. Access to production data is limited to the people who run the service. If we learn of a breach that affects you, we tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

Children

Obligare is for businesses and is not directed at anyone under 18; we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes and contact

When this policy changes, the effective date above changes and subscribers get an email. Alleviate Technologies, Inc., 131 Continental Dr, Suite 305, Newark, DE 19713. hello@obligare.com.
