Wisconsin requires every limited partnership or LLP registered in the state to file an annual report with the Wisconsin Department of Financial Institutions by the end of the calendar quarter in which it was formed. The fee is $25. Miss it and the result is administrative dissolution after one year of failure. A company registered in more than one state files this in each of them. A general partnership that never registered with the state files no annual report in most states; the line is for limited partnerships and LLPs.
