Rhode Island requires every limited partnership or LLP registered in the state to file an annual report with the Rhode Island Department of State by May 1 each year. The fee is $50. Miss it and the result is $25 late fee; revocation after continued failure. A company registered in more than one state files this in each of them. A general partnership that never registered with the state files no annual report in most states; the line is for limited partnerships and LLPs.
