New Jersey requires every limited partnership or LLP registered in the state to file an annual report with the New Jersey Division of Revenue and Enterprise Services by the last day of the anniversary month of its formation. The fee is $75. Miss it and the result is revocation after two years of failure. A company registered in more than one state files this in each of them. A general partnership that never registered with the state files no annual report in most states; the line is for limited partnerships and LLPs.
