Jay explains
Maryland entities file an annual report (Form 1) with the Department of Assessments and Taxation by April 15, with a personal property return attached if the business owns or leases personal property in the state. The fee is $300 for most entities, among the highest in the country, and an extension to June 15 is available if requested by April 15.
