Louisiana requires every limited partnership or LLP registered in the state to file an annual report with the Louisiana Secretary of State on the anniversary date of its formation. The fee is $30. Miss it and the result is revocation after three years of failure. A company registered in more than one state files this in each of them. A general partnership that never registered with the state files no annual report in most states; the line is for limited partnerships and LLPs.
