Arkansas requires every limited partnership or LLP registered in the state to file an annual franchise tax report with the Arkansas Secretary of State by May 1 each year. The fee is $150. Miss it and the result is $25 late penalty plus interest; charter revoked after continued failure. A company registered in more than one state files this in each of them. A general partnership that never registered with the state files no annual report in most states; the line is for limited partnerships and LLPs.
