Jay explains
Arizona was one of the first states to drop charitable solicitation registration, in 2013. A charity asking Arizona residents for money needs no state registration, though it still files its Form 990 and keeps its corporate standing. Veterans organizations are the one category that still registers, with the Secretary of State.
